01 Let’s Take Down the Old Siding

Our precision begins with your decision. We begin work on your project as soon as you decide on the colour and pattern of your siding. In the first step, take care not to damage the sheathing below by removing all the nails gently from the existing siding. Siding removal can take anywhere from 2 to 7 days, depending on the type of siding to be removed.

02 Assessment and Restoration of Sheathing

Careful examination is one of our specialties. Our team inspects the sheathing for any rotting or damaged areas after removing the old siding. If repairs are required, you may be looking at a modest extra expense. In the last 8 years that we’ve been in business, we have seen that most properties are not in need of repair.

03 The Most Efficient Way to Prepare a Wall

Following that, the rain screen is installed according to BC building code. Rain screens are composed of building paper, flashings, strapping, and mesh. Rainscreen helps to prevent your siding from being damaged by rain, allowing the air to flow, and extending the lifespan of your siding by at least 5-10 years.

04 Siding Installation and Fine-Tuning
